An estimated 287,000 women die each year due to maternal health complications during pregnancy or childbirth. Access to quality care can mean the difference between life and death for mothers and their babies.
For years we focused on patient safety in Peru, working alongside healthcare professionals to improve hospital protocols, reduce medical errors, and create safer environments for patients. But no matter where we worked, one reality remained clear—mothers and infants are among the most vulnerable.
Now, we're bringing our expertise home to South Florida, where maternal health disparities continue to put women at risk. Through training healthcare providers, advocating for safer care, and supporting at-risk mothers, we are committed to ensuring every woman receives the care she deserves.
